It is required for all users of Joingy’s website to acknowledge and agree to the following.

Joingy prohibits access and use of all its services by anyone under 18 years of age.

  • Do not use Joingy if you are under 18 years old.
  • Please refrain from having conversations of sexual nature.
  • Do not transmit nudity or behave in a way that is inappropriate or illegal in nature.
  • Harassment, racism, sexism, bullying, and excessive vulgarity will not be tolerated. If anyone is making you uncomfortable, please disconnect from the chat.
  • Spamming our chat rooms is not allowed. This includes excessively posting links/phrases and promoting or advertising products/services. For more information please visit Wikipedia’s entry on ‘Spamming’.
  • Do not create or use automated programs to start chats on our website or app.
  • The primary language of Joingy is English, so please keep chats in English as much as possible. You may use your translation tool on your browser to have cross-language conversations. Additionally, try our ‘Interest’ feature to meet others who may speak different tongues. For example, try entering keywords like, ‘French’, ‘Spanish’, ‘German’, ‘Mandarin’, ‘Russian’ etc.
  • Do not attempt to hack our website or spread malware.
  • Do not transmit disgusting, shocking, violent situations or illegal content of any kind.
  • Do not share peoples’ private information. In addition, please be careful discussing information about yourself. This includes names, ages, locations, or social media accounts.
  • Transmitting anything that may defame or damage someone’s reputation is not allowed.
  • Violating intellectual property rights on our platform will not be tolerated.

Joingy keeps internal logs of discussions for moderation purposes.

Users caught breaking these rules will be banned from our chat rooms.
